These fees reflect a generous grant from The Lutheran Foundation. They include all program, meals, and books.
Cabins are new and heated, but are designed for “adventurous” couples. Clean and simple, they offer bunk beds on a cement floor. Bathroom facilities are located 30 yards away in the Daniel Retreat Center.
Local lodging – Check out local B & B’s: The Kimmel House (15 minutes) or The Brick Ark Inn (10 minutes). The closest hotels are in Columbia City (20 minutes).
Local Attractions – Feel free to ENJOY these options for your Saturday afternoon “free time” or if extending your Couple’s Retreat, enjoy these on Friday or Sunday afternoon! Chain-0-Lakes State Park (5 minutes away), Black Pine Animal Sanctuary (Albion), Gene Stratton- Porter State Historic Site (Rome City), and the Midwest Windmill Museum (Kendallville).
